Peru with its amazing and unique nature offers plenty of outdoor activities. Add day hikes, a multiple day trek on the classic Inca Trail or an alternative route, throw in a mountain bike ride, go zip lining, sand boarding, rafting or explore the Amazon Rainforest.
If you are not into camping, consider hiking the short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, entering Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate in the afternoon away from the crowds, left alone all those amazing views as you approach the site.
